Scope

Alia is a (proud!) born-and-raised Cincinnatian. Combining her love for creativity and a fascination with the way humans think, Alia spent the past six years studying Communication Design, Psychology, and Art Therapy. She feels very grateful to have had several invaluable co-ops, through which she was able to gain skills in areas such as themed entertainment, environmental graphics, social media, and advertising. Alia thrives on work that feels anything but monotonous, ranging from motion graphics to print work, from brainstorm to final design, and from design sprint to extensive project. She believes the most essential role a designer can play is producing meaningful work that has a positive impact on the world. There's not much out there that doesn't spark Alia's interest...but plants, movie trailers, bookstores, photography, football, and dogs are common igniters :). When she's not designing, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, running, reading, and puzzling. After graduation, Alia hopes to find a job that allows her to stay curious and pursue her passions. She is particularly interested in the areas of storytelling, athletics, film, and experiential design. Her dream is to one day work for a professional football team, create title sequences for movies or TV series, and/or help design theme parks or museum exhibits.
